I love tiny tattoos. I think they’re an absolutely adorable way to commemorate something special in your life (or…just look cool). They’re like little bumper stickers for your body. While complicated sleeves and large works of art are definitely gorgeous, there’s something magical about the simplicity and femininity of a small tattoo.
Emma Stone and her mom have matching small tattoos of bird feet — designed by Paul McCartney! — in a show of solidarity following her mother’s breast cancer treatment and recovery.
Ashlee Simpson has a small pair of cherries on her ankle.
A big ink fan, Rihanna’s subtler tattoos include a skull and crossbones with Hello Kitty-style bow on her ankle, and words tattooed on the sides of her fingers, including the provocative “Shhh…” (which both Lindsay Lohan and Lily Allen have variations of as well).

Beautiful wedding dresses and gorgeous photo shoot for Lazaro Spring 2010 bridal collection. Above: Ivory Alençon lace net bridal gown with sweetheart neckline, fresh water pearl brooch at natural waist with tie ribbon, soft A-line skirt with Alençon lace applique over sparkle net underlay. Below: hand beaded and embroidered tulle wedding dress with floral accents, elongated bodice with circular skirt, chapel train.
One for multi tier lovers. Ivory Victorian lace A-line formal bridal gown, sweetheart neckline, elongated torso with satin bow ribbon belt at natural waist, pleated bias bands with lace appliqué accent skirt and chapel train.
Not a big fan of ballgown but I find this one quite lovely. Silk Mikado yoke bodice with vintage fresh water pearl ribbon belt, full gathered embroidered English net skirt with sequin tulle underlay, sweep train.
âLazaro blends ultra-glamorous vintage details, stunning floral embellishments and signature hand-beading and embroidery in his latest collection. Lazaroâs hallmark craftsmanship, combined with sumptuous fabrics and perfectly cut silhouettes, give every gown an haute couture feel.â To end the post, a gown that is an unabashed celebration of feminine ruffles!
All the wedding dresses from Suzanne Ermannâs Mariée Couture and SE Marier collections feature a unique detail â large ruffles of satin trim tulle. Talk about having a strong identifiable style!
Looks like the ribbons used by rhythmic gymnasts got freeze framed and then wrapped artistically around the clean lines of the gowns.
Works nicely on this short in front, long at the back dress. Just wondering: would it get crushed into a limp pile or retain its puffed up lightness at the end of the day? Dress on the right has a tamer version used as detail around the waist as a peplum.
Cute short wedding dresses. Flirty retro inspired fit and flare mini dress or smart tea dress for you?
Over the ages humans have devised symbolic languages of flowers, which became popularized in the Victorian era. In the 1600′s, Lady Mary Wortley was pivotal in bringing flowers and meanings to the public attention. Prior to her research and observations the symbolism of flowers was quite esoteric.
Floral symbolism varies according to the type of flower, how it is arranged, how many flowers in the arrangements, and combinations of flowers. Effectually, a floral bouquet as a gift could have endless symbolic meanings. Only someone savvy in the language of flowers and meanings would be able to crack the secret code.
In the end, whether you are a Wortley devotee, or ascribe to the Chinese symbolism of flowers, keep in mind they are always a symbol of generosity and love when they are given away.
